We know that many people value face to face contact with other
people who have been affected by prostate cancer. Now, in Scotland,
we have a network of established support groups, which are free and
open to men living with prostate cancer, their partners, families,
friends or carers. The groups meet regularly and offer the
opportunity for informal chat and discussion, guest speakers and
free literature. Groups also organise social activities and some
also get involved in raising awareness about prostate cancer.
